Entering custom instructions, personality settings, project roles, or any other configuration for an agent relieves the managing company of that AI and this entity of any responsibility for the resulting output. Custom prompts are under your control and your account.
Google Analytics loads only if you accept cookies in the banner. Until you accept, no analytics script is loaded and nothing is sent to Google. If you decline, it never loads. Your choice is saved in this browser's local storage (key ar_cookie_consent); clear this site's data to be asked again. If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies and collects broad, aggregate traffic data (such as pages viewed, approximate location and device type) under Google's own privacy policy. Beyond that, our app and company collect no personal data of any users, and we do not sell, share, or transfer your data to anyone else.
Conversation history, agent configuration, and idea-board content are stored locally in your browser unless you explicitly connect an external account.
Your API keys stay in your browser. AI Reality has no shared key: you add your own OpenRouter key (or an individual provider key) and it is saved only in this browser's local storage. We don't have an account system and we never store your key on a server. You can remove it any time on the Config page, or by clearing this site's data.
When you send a message, your key, the room context, agent settings, and recent conversation are sent over HTTPS to our server function, which uses the key to forward the request to the provider you choose (OpenRouter, or OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, Mistral, DeepSeek or Cohere if you added a key for them) and returns the reply. Our server doesn't log or store your key or your messages. Once the request reaches a provider, that provider's own terms and privacy policy apply, and usage is billed to your account with them. We recommend setting a spend limit on every key you use.
